                        Bug Descriptions

This patch fixes 3 different problems with the gconf tool provided with
CCS 1.20.  These fixes will *only* work with CCS 1.20 and should not be
used with other versions of CCS.

(1) Problem with Gconf Property Pages on Chinese Windows.  This patch
    is only needed if you are running gconf on a non-ANSI (e.g., Chinese
    or Korean) Windows PC.

SDSsq12505 - Problem with size of gconf property pages in Chinese Windows

    uipkg.dll

(2) Problem with opening 'c6xxx.cdb'.  This patch is only needed if you
    are running CCS for the 'C6000 and are having a problem opening the
    'c6xxx.cdb' file.

SDSsq12334 - Gconf cannot open seeds based on c6xxx.cdb (only on some mach

    gconf.exe
    cdbconf.dll

(3) Problems updating BIOS I .cdb files to BIOS II.  This patch is only
    needed if you are updating a configuration file (.cdb) from DSP/BIOS I
    (CCS 1.00 or CCS 1.10) to DSP/BIOS II (CCS 1.20).

SDSsq11645 - Conversion of cdb file is incorrect
SDSsq11700 - MEM seg created with heap even though MEM Manager says no heap
SDSsq11701 - gconf does not update cdb file for copy correctly
SDSsq11709 - Build of project with .cdb update from 1.05 generates link err
SDSsq12281 - fix 'upd.dll' to update MEM and IDL settings from CCS 1.10, 1.
SDSsq12513 - Conversion of cdb file is incorrect with regards to mem

                        Installation Instructions
===========================================================================

0.  Unzip this file to an empty temporary directory.

1.  These patch .dll and .exe files will replace the files of the
    same name in the 'c:\ti\plugins\bios' directory.

2.  Make backup copies of the .dlls or .exe that you will replace.

3.  Copy the patch .dll or .exe to 'c:\ti\plugins\bios'.
