Fontastic is a shareware (formerly commercial) program which
exploits the bit graphics mode of some printers for printing
standard DOS ASCII text files. Unlike the original FOG
release of this disk, the files have been left in the .ARC
files in the hope that users will find this less confusing.

The three modules of Fontastic are:

IHSPRINT -- The printing program which will print any
specified ASCII text file and use the Fontastic formatting
commands to print any fonts. Use IHSPRINT.EXE to print the
documentation AFTER it is extracted using G.BAT.

IHSUTIL -- the utility program to allow manipulation of the
font definition files. It performs major editing functions
not supported under IHSFONT.

IHSFONT -- A character definition editor which allows the
user to create or change characters to be printed.

To use this program, put this disk in drive A: and type G<cr>
to get started. The menu provides selections for listing the
basic documentation and for copying Fontastic to another
floppy or to a hard disk (C:).

Use G.BAT to view the file READ.ME then use IHSPRINT to print
each of the text files as suggested. The demo file mentioned
in the documentation is NOT included on this disk as it was
not part of the copy of Fontastic we received nor on any of
the remote systems we checked.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Type INSTALL<cr> to select a printer and
video setup BEFORE you use any part of this program.
