Magic Eightball!!

This is the classic decision maker! You can find a variation of
this program on most computers. I wanted to write something that was
pretty mindless after my last program, Yahtzee. So I decided to use
the random number routine to generate one out of 22 messages for the
Magic Eightball. You'll notice that I'm now using a PUTMAP routine
for the opening dialog box. I want to thank Mr Ian Rowlings for that
information. Ian has helped discover several more routines in the
Avigo including, GET_TIME, PUT_TIME, PUT_BITMAP, and PLAY_NOTES. I
think we have just about every routine we need except maybe for a
routine to get text strings from the user.

To use this program is simple... just ask the Magic Eighball a
YES/NO question and then press the ANSWER button. The Eighball's answer
will be displayed. To exit the program, simply press the screen somewhere
else or press any other button.

This program is freeware, so use it as much as you want. I hope
you enjoy it! Contact me if you want to find out more about Avigo
programming at...
