Pong '99 - a simple 2-player pong game. Since it was/is my first game for the Avigo, it is very simplistic; I'm trying out my skills. Please write me with any opinions/questions (and yes, I do know there are bugs ;-).

Game distribution changed - Emailware!!! - Thou must email me after installing the game!! ;-) Or I'll put the programmer's curse on you!

Special thanx to the maker of the freeware Avigo SDK:

Thanx to Dave Page and Bill Baxter for IO routines/keyscan. Oh yeah, I changed Bill's SDK 0.91B2-compatible file to work with the 0.92 (the latest) - if you need it, write me.

List of known bugs:
* Sometimes the pause function does not work from the first try, the button must be held down.
* Seldom, the ball might attain a way too steep of a trajectory, may become hard to follow.

Release Changes:
* Number of sets changeable (by 2, will figure out why/what's wrong at a later date).
* The ball no longer retains its previous heading after a reset (after a paddle didn't catch it).
* Your favorite number of sets saveable from game to game by pressing "set as default" button. (Note - If your battery is low or you're using the backlight while pressing the aforementioned button, it may not save correctly)
* During play, the ball y modifier is displayed, I was using it for testing, but then it looked kinda cool so I left it there. If you find it annoying, tell me and I'll take it off.

Requests:
If anyone could tell me what the solutions to the problems above are, I'd appreciate it. Also I'm unable to display ints for some reason.. any help?

What I might want to do to the game:

* Make a more "windowy" look - menu bar, circle in the right top corner, e.t.c.
* Add a saveable "sounds on/off" option.
* Add a computer opponent (easy to do, but I am not sure how to make him lose occasionally ;-)
* Change the objects to sprites.
* Change the lives display to numbers instead of bars (need to?)
* Whatever you have in mind... <--- WRITE WRITE WRITE to avigopics@hotmail.com

Hehe... I have all these ideas now... we'll see if I get to implementing any of them... In any case,

Hope you like the game!!!

Eugene Gisin.
