This directory contains the master copies of configuration files and startup
command scripts for V workstations. Configuration files are named by the 8-
or 48-bit host Ethernet address converted into hex characters, with a "C."
prefix. Files with a "S." prefix are startup command scripts. Files with
a "G." prefix are IP gateway files.

Configuration files consist of a list of keyword/value pairs. The keyword
and value are separated by a colon (':'), and successive pairs are separated
by newlines. A line with a null keyword (i.e., one beginning with a colon)
serves as a continuation of the value part of the previous line (Nice theory;
in practice, many programs probably don't know about this convention).

The file "keywords" contains a list of currently defined keywords and their
meanings.
