Naming convention:

Sources are kept in the mi (machine independant), m68k, and vax are source
directories. Each kernel configuration resides, along with all binaries
comprising it, in a seperate source directory. Object directory names are
formed by separating the processor name and names for various optional
devices by "+" signs.  The codes are:

PROCESSORS
sun1	SMI Sun-1, Cadlinc, or homebrew Stanford Suns, based on the
	    Sun-1 processor board design, with MC68000 processor.
sun1.5	SMI Sun-1.5.  Sun-1 processor board with MC68010 processor.
sun2	SMI Sun-2 processor board.
sun3	SMI Sun-3 processor board
vaxu	DEC uVax-II

ETHERNETS
en	3 Mbit Ethernet interface.
ec	10 Mbit Ethernet interface -- 3Com.
ex	10 Mbit Ethernet interface -- Excelan.
ie	10 Mbit Ethernet interface -- SMI/Intel internal ethernet chip.
sun	10 Mbit Ethernet interface -- SMI/Intel external multibus board.
qna	10 Mbit Ethernet interface -- DEQ DEQNA.

DISKS
idk	Interphase disk controller.
xyl	Xylogics disk controller.

OTHER
mbhack	Sun-1 kernel with a special hack to make the first 1/2 megabyte of
	    Multibus space directly visible at logical address 0x100000.
	    Multibus memory boards are looked for at 0x800000.
