	V system version of METAFONT84

This is Donald Knuth's new implementation of METAFONT, a portable
programming language for compiling geometric descriptions into
bitmap fonts. The program is 99% done, but is still under work
from both Knuth's and my hand.

The program takes a LOT of memory, and should probably not be run
on a 1MB-or-less workstation.

WARNING: I haven't yet updated the 'bits' program to understand the new
version of gf (Generic Font) format.

If you want to use MF, or have problems, you could contact me.
