--------NOTES-----------
This skin took a good while to do, as I revised the overall design several times. IMHO time well spent though - one of my favourite skins that I've manufactured myself. I used the default skin as a guide, but that's it. Some people think it's a crime to do this (I stick it in as a base layer in PS and paint on top) but it's a good way to get the feel for the model.

I've also included a back story, as these seem to prove popular for character skins. It's a gruesome little tale (I'm getting worried about that imagination of mine...)

So there you go. Hope you enjoy the skin. If you have anything interesting to say about it then don't hesitate in emailing me

--------STORY-----------

Poiser is a bit of an enigma amongst the arena combatants. Rumour says that he can be traced back to the well-publicised case of a young boy, Bertram Poiser, on 21st century Earth. The boy developed an unhealthy obsession with inserting pieces of metal and plastic into his skin. When he was 12 he lost his hand in a freak accident in his father's workshop. It transpired that the accident was in fact planned by the child with the sole purpose of getting the hand replaced with a prosthetic. He was commited and spent the next three years in a mental institution. He was released on his fifteenth birthday, apparently cured of his problems, when, against all expectation, he murdered his 9 year old sister. He was found in their front room, his sister layed on a bloodied sofa cussion with various components from the TV and microwave oven lodged under her flesh. He claimed to have been "upgrading" her, and that "shutting her down" was neccessary for the process. The boy was sent straight to a high-security correctional facility.

This wasn't the end of Bertram Poiser, though. Three years later he escaped, apparently through a painfully small ventilation shaft in the exercise area. He squeezed through the gap by starving himself for a month and amputating his own right arm, found later by guards in another vent. That was the last the 21st century saw of Bertram.

Nearly eighty years later a second Poiser, a hired gun by trade, appeared. Only partly human, he had gradually replaced more than 90% of his original tissue with prosthetic implants (the remaining 10% was only rumour). Deadly, fearless and insane, Poiser was never caught. In fact, only one out of six hundred suspected victims ever saw the man before he was fragged. The image revealed by the PPS(Posthumous Psy-Scan) was one of a creature unrecognisable as human.

Rumoured habits of Poiser also matched the boy in the 21st century. It is said he once smuggled himself into the Venus Orbital Hilton in parts. His trademark was also to insert fragments of casings ejected by his firearm into his victims face.

It is no wonder Poiser was picked for the arena. Rather than resenting the challenge, he relishes the competition, each rebirth driving him further on. He is relentless and totally evil. If you stumble across a corpse in the arena with brass pushed into the hapless combatant's eye sockets, it's probably too late to even turn to face your killer...
