iDOOM Beta 1.00 - 14 Aug 2004 - Bounding-Box Studios

How do i install iDOOM?
		Unzip idoom-b100.zip to the root of your Doom 3 directory.
		This is commonly C:\Program Files\Doom 3\. Once you have
		extracted the archive you can launch the mod by using the
		shortcut provided or by selecting the iDOOM mod from the
		mods menu.

What is iDOOM?
		iDOOM is yet another instagib mod for ID's Doom 3 game.
		The mod gives the player a single weapon, a modified
		shotgun, which has the ability to kill an apponent with
		one shot. There are already several instagib mods out on
		"the scene" however we felt that a little more could be
		done to give the community a true instagib mod. All
		powerups and pickups have been removed from all maps to
		ensure you wont get hit by a invisible mega-healthed
		armor whore :)

So any issues with the current version?
		Absolutely :)
		This is the initial version which doesnt appear to have
		any major gameplay bugs. There are however a couple of
		cosmetic issues with the mod in its current state. The
		main one is the player animations. The current fire
		animations are totally FUBAR. These will be fixed in
		later versions, we simply did not feel that it was worth
		delaying the mod for any longer due to some animations.

I want to run a server for iDOOM, any special settings?
		You will need to set si_pure to 0. This is due to the fact
		that iDOOM uses a modified gamex86.dll. I predict this
		will change in the future once we get that priceless SDK.
		You might want to play around with net_serverAllowServerMod.
		It shouldnt make any difference, but it sounds pretty hot!!

When i join/create a server i see lots of warnings in the console. Is this normal?
		Yes. At the moment the code which is used to remove all
		off the powerups and pickups is very primitive. It works
		by replacing the current entities with nullified entities.
		This results in the console warning you that entity
		definition X has already been defined and that you are
		overwritting. This is exactly what it should be doing and
		you should not need to worry about it.

I want to use some of your code for my own project, can i?
		Sure, all we ask is that you inform us before you release
		your work and that you also give full credit for any of
		our work which you use.

Who are you guys?
		Bounding-Box Studios was formed by a bunch of retards who
		just wanted to make things :) We dont currently have a

		Sure. The whole of Bounding-Box in particular Bahm,
		talonlzr and 3dioot for testing and putting up with
		me moaning about "x doesnt work". Major m4d pr0ps to
		ID for giving us Doom 3 and a simply incredibly modding
		structure. And last but by no means least everyone over
