As with the netperf source code, any and all binaries found within
this heirachy are covered by the disclaimers contained withing the
copyright statements which ships with the netperf sources. Please read
it before using any binaries you find within this heirarchy. An html
version can be found via the netperf homepage at
http://www.cup.hp.com/netperf/NetperfPage.html .

Generally, the binaries provided here are "vanilla."  That is to say
they are compiled for the TCP and UDP BSD sockets (or winsock) tests
only, and whatever version of CPU utilization seems appropriate
(-DUSE_PSTAT on HP-UX 10.X, -DUSE_LOOPER on all other platforms). If
you want any of the optional benchmark suites you will have to
download the sources and compile them yourself.

So you can see what compiler options were used, every attempt will be
made to include the makefile used for the compilation, and if
possible, some statement as to the origins of the compiler (polite
ones please ;)

There is no way I can provide binaries for the entire heirarchy
myself, so I must rely on your help to populate this space. If you
have a set of binaries for a particular platform, please let me know
via email, and I will make arrangements to ge them placed into the
heirarchy.
