You can use "ftp" to copy a file between UCLink and another computer on the
Internet, such as sumex-aim.stanford.edu or a workstation running Home-IP.
Most commonly, "anonymous" ftp is used to copy public files or software.
If a remote site allows anonymous ftp, then you can connect to the system
and use the login "anonymous" and use your electronic mail address as the
password. If you use ftp to transfer files between two private accounts,
you'll need to know the login and password for both accounts. Type "quit"
at the ftp> prompt to return to the UCLink menu system.
