3. New features in this releaseThis release have been done for OpenBSD 2.2. It contains a few minor changes in respect to the XFree86 3.3.1 distribution for OpenBSD 2.1 that can be found on the XFree86 sites

  1. The servers are no longer installed setuid. You need to run xdm to use X safely. You can also set the setuid bit yourself, but don't do that unless you know what you are doing.
  2. A security hole that allow to view the first words of an arbitrary file when the servers are setuid has been fixed.
