PCB layout of a ARM3 adapter for
older Acorn machines with ARM2
processor.

Desolder the ARM2 socket and 
replace it with a PGA socket.

Etch the 2 PCBs. The smaller one is
the adapter from the new PGA on the 
motherboard to the main PCB.
The main PCB is a double sided one.
You need:
1 x ARMIII CPU with socket
1 x Oszillator 2xCPU clock
1 x 74(ACx,F)74 with socket
Some Condensors 10uF,10 Volts or more
Some Ceramic Condensors
Connectors for joining the two PCB's
Connectors for the adapter PCB to connect
to the motherboard CPU socket.


My ARMIII adapter works now for over
5 years without problems.
