--- What is BYLD ---
This is a little package that helps you to build a Linux distribution
on a single floppy disk to use as you want (net client, rescue disk...).
This is *not* a complete distribution: it was made only to build a mini
distribution on a floppy.
However you can use it as is (follow quick installation instruction below)
but I suggest to configure it and build your own floppy distribution
(see BYLDING).

--- Installation Instructions ---
Read INSTALL file.

--- Extensions ---
1. You can make BYLD packages and put them in other floppies (see PAKING).
2. Tom Flynn is also working about a BYLD-Live-CDROM (BYLD-1.1.x) to put a
lot of program and packages; its mounting point will be /usr/ so everyone
will find it very similar to other distributions.
Download BYLD-1.1.x if you want this feature.
3. A nice project is under development: to put BYLD in an EPROM and make an
autonomous diskless workstation, but I need a lot of help to do this.

--- Bugs ---
BYLD 1.0.x works *only* with glibc2 (libc6)
If you want use libc5, you need BYLD 0.9.x

BYLD strongly depends from your current distribution. I'm working about
compatibility, but I cannot test each distribution for you, so I please
you to help me in this big job.

Have a lot of fun!
