PATCHING INSTRUCTIONS:

1) Make sure you have the U.S Security Version of the Netscape

   Navigator 2.0. This patch program will allow you to update

   an existing copy of "U.S Security" Version of Netscape Navigator

   2.0 to Netscape Navigator 2.01 (U.S).  TRYING TO UPDATE OTHER

   VERSIONS OF THE NAVIGATOR, INCLUDING NAVIGATOR GOLD, WILL CORRUPT

   YOUR FILES.



   If you are in doubt about which version you have,

   check the "About Netscape..." option under the Help menu.

   The text next to the RSA logo will tell you if you have the

   "US Security" or "International Security" version.



2) To upgrade to 2.01, first download one of the patch files into

   a temporary directory.



        for 16-bit (Windows 3.x)....... P201_16.EXE

        for 32-bit (Windows'95 & NT)... P201_32.EXE



3) Double click on the appropriate patch file to start the upgrade

   For Windows 3.x, you'll need to run SETUP.EXE (located in 

   the same directory) after having double clicked on P201_16.EXE.

   

4) In the Dialog Window "Locate your Netscape.exe file", make sure

   you select the directory containing the Netscape.exe file.This

   directory is usually:

   "C:\Program Files\Netscape\Navigator\Program" in Win95 and

   Windows NT.



5) In the "Confirm v.2.01 Upgrade" dialog window ,click the YES

   button to continue the upgrade and CANCEL to abort.

   WARNING: Do not click on the CHANGE OPTION button.



6) The patch program will upgrade all your files from version 2.0

   to 2.01.



7) Make sure to check the new readme.txt for information related to

   Navigator 2.01.
