gnos stands for GlasNet Online System
or GNU Online System if you'd like it more
and currently has only simple mailer and simple editor builtin.
It's primary purpose to allow msdos users access unix system
with some kind of friendly mailer with upload/download capabilities
builtin and that works well on low speed connections

It's primary purpose is to serve as a shell for msdos users
logged into linux. It's easy to internationalize and [relatively] difficult
to port. It's under GNU GPL v2. Tested with 1.0 kernel.

NOTE: you need customized rz/rb binaries placed in /usr/local/bin,
see gnos.rc for details of what executables and paths does gnos depends on.
Zmodem was customized at IGC and comes under different copying
conditions. Call support@igc.apc.org for details. Z/Y modem won't
work without those customized rz/rb versions, I use them as follows:
	/usr/local/bin/rz -F file_to_receive
