HTML files used by web modules are stored under the root directory of the web module hierarchy. In the Explorer window, HTML files are represented by the node icon.

To create an HTML file within a web module structure from the Explorer:

1. Right click on the root directory for the web module.
2. Choose New JSP & Servlet HTML file from the contextual menu.
