Polytron Version Control System (PVCS) is not provided with the IDE, so you must already have PVCS installed on your system before you can mount a PVCS filesystem.
To mount a PVCS directory:

VCS from the main window to open the New Generic VCS wizard. You can also click the Select button to search for all project databases. The dialog box contains three choices:
Your project database must be mounted locally on your system. For Microsoft Windows systems, the project database computer must be mapped to your computer. For UNIX systems, the project database computer must be mounted as a UNIX filesystem.
A new VCS filesystem node appears in
the Filesystems tab in the Explorer. The filesystem is represented
by a purple VCS filesystem icon

followed by the name of the filesystem's VCS profile and the name of the working
directory. The VCS status for each file appears in brackets after its name.
