You can view the status of the debugger by right-clicking the Debugger node in the Runtime tab of the Explorer and choosing properties. The debugger has the following properties:
| State | Description |
|---|---|
| Starting | The program is being started in the debugger. You cannot pause, resume, or single-step the application. |
| Running | The application being debugged has been started and is executing instructions. |
| Stopped on a Breakpoint | The application is suspended because the debugger reached a breakpoint or the user issued a pause or a step command (Step Into, Step Over, Step Out, or Run to Cursor). |
| Not Running | The debugger is not running. |
