Fixing an Out of Memory Error

If you are compiling a large application and get an out of memory error, you can fix the problem by increasing the heap size.

To increase heap size when using the external compiler:

1. In the Options window, expand Building  Compiler Types  External Compilation.
2. Add -J -Xmx160m as one of the parameters of the External Compiler property.

To increase heap size when using the internal compiler:

• Increase the heap size in the bin/ide.cfg file in your installation directory.
