There is one issue that the rewrite doesn't fix, but I don't see a reasonable
way to fix it, and it is a very minor issue.  If the last line of a file ends
in a backslash, an error message will be printed which says that the last field
has no value.  It's a quirk of Flex, and I don't see a way around it.
