1. Introduction
---------------

Welcome to Korigin, a scientific data visualization tool for KDE.

This release is not suited for actual usage. It is just to make
*you* curious and to invite *you* to join us developing a real
killer application Korigin will hopefully become!

The current version of Korigin is pre-alpha, so do not expect too
much from it yet. The features currently implemented are:
  - import ASCII tables
  - export HTML and TeX tables
  - worksheet can do a lot of useful things, including a normalize
    function.
  - simple histograms and xy plots can be created from the worksheet
and can be moved around on the page.

Read the file INSTALL for installation details.

If you do not succeed in compiling Korigin, don't hesitate and send an
e-mail to one of the addresses mentioned above.

3. Known Bugs
-------------
Since Korigin is currently pre-alpha, there are too many bugs to list.
When you hit one (I'm afraid to write "if"), please report it to one
of the addresses mentioned above.
