_F_a_i_l_u_r_e_s _o_f _A_i_r-_c_o_n_d_i_t_i_o_n_i_n_g _E_q_u_i_p_m_e_n_t

_D_e_s_c_r_i_p_t_i_o_n:

     Proschan (1963) reported on the times between failures of the
     air-conditioning equipment in 10 Boeing 720 aircraft. The
     'aircondit' data frame contains  the intervals for the ninth
     aircraft while 'aircondit7' contains those for the seventh
     aircraft. 

     Both data frames have just one column.  Note that the data have
     been sorted  into increasing order.

_F_o_r_m_a_t:

     The data frames contain the following column:

     '_h_o_u_r_s' The time interval in hours between successive failures of
          the air-conditioning equipment
